Participants will have 24 hours to design, test, develop and submit their project. You can use this time to build something for class, but please recognize that to be considered for prizes, no previous code base can exist prior to 10:00 am on 10/26/19. Participants are welcome to and encourage to utilize frameworks and APIs to assist in their development. 

Judging Criteria 

  1. Difficulty 
    Coding ain't always easy. Be sure to share the amount of effort your team put into the project with the judges. 
  2. Creativity 
    Are you building something new and different? What about reinventing an old idea with a new perspective? 
  3. Usefulness 
    Is this project going to be helpful? Does it have a purpose? Will it have a positive impact on anything? 
  4. Scalability / Global Impact 
    Does this idea have the potential to reach many people? Could it be used by diverse groups of people in different regions of the world? 
  5. Polish 
    Aesthetics, presentation, and user interaction.

Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any code{a}thon venue. Code{a}thon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the code{a}thon at the discretion of the code{a}thon organizers.
